H3C WX5500X series new generation high-performance wired and wireless integrated controller
H3C WX5500X is a new generation of high-performance wired and wireless integrated controller (AC, Access Controller) product series independently developed by H3C Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as H3C). The WX5500X series wireless controller is positioned in the domestic high-end enterprise market and is suitable for scenarios such as large capacity, high reliability, and diverse business types. The WX5500X series adopts H3C's new generation Comware network operating system platform and high-performance FPGA intelligent acceleration card, with high capacity and high performance, providing multi-dimensional self optimized intelligent wireless networks.
The H3C WX5500X series wireless controller includes two models: WX5540X and WX5560X. In conjunction with the H3C Fit AP product series, it meets typical wireless applications such as WLAN access for large-scale campus networks, enterprise offices, and metropolitan area coverage.

High reliability backup mechanism
The H3C WX5500X series wireless controller supports multiple reliable networking methods and has the following advantages:
IRF: No dedicated cables or interfaces are required, only layer 2 communication is needed to establish, multiple AC are virtualized into one, networking is simple, configuration management is unified, business switching is imperceptible, and switching time is less than 10ms;
N+1 backup; The downtime of one AC in the AC group does not affect the functionality of other ACs, resulting in low networking costs and flexible business expansion;
Flexible license control: Install a license on one device, and other devices can share and use it; License binding allows for easy uninstallation and migration after installation;
• Support wireless business escape: When the authentication server fails and the AC detection server is unreachable, the authentication escape will be automatically activated without interrupting user business; When AC fails, AP can automatically detect capwap link interruption, automatically enable remote ap function, and business will not be interrupted;
Supports AC 1+1 backup, DC 1+1 backup, and supports power hot plugging. Supports hot swapping of fans.
Safer WLAN network
WLAN SAVI (Source Address Validity Verification): By recording the binding relationship between the MAC of the wireless client and the assigned IP address and username, it eliminates the behavior of manually configuring counterfeit IP or MAC addresses to access the network for communication, and protects the security and reliability of the wireless network.
WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Detection and Defense): supports blacklist, whitelist, Rogue defense, malformed message detection, illegal user offline, signature MAC layer attack detection and countermeasures based on preset upgrades (such as DoS attacks, Flood attacks, man in the middle attacks), etc. According to wireless security policies, countermeasures should be taken against clear illegal attack sources (APs or terminals, etc.).
Supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stack (Native IPv6)
The WX5500X series wireless controller supports IPV6 access for wireless customers. At the starting point of the tunnel AP, due to the device's awareness of IPv6, it is possible to achieve mapping from IPv6 priority to tunnel priority; On the AC side, complex control and filtering such as ACL filtering can also be applied to IPv6 packets.
The WX5500X series wireless controller can also be deployed in IPv6 networks, with automatic negotiation between AC and AP to form an IPv6 tunnel. When AC and AP are fully operating in IPv6 state, the wireless controller can still correctly perceive IPv4 and process IPv4 packets from wireless clients. The WX5500X series wireless controller has flexible adaptability to IPv4/6, which can meet various complex applications of customers in IPv4 to IPv6 network migration. It can provide IPv4 services to customers in IPv6 islands, and also allow users to easily log in to the network through the IPv6 protocol in IPv4 islands.
